Mr. Trujillo launched United Paving Co. 22 years ago and has continued to lead it's growth into one of the most successful paving maintenance companies in the nation. His passion for building relationships, providing better customer service, and developing processes were the driving factors in creating United. His business savvy, forward thinking, and commitment to excellence is what keeps the company stable, growing and striving to be the best.

Chief Superintendent - Field Operations

Mr. Roman has 25 years of paving industry experience. He climbed the ropes from the ground up and has served as our Chief Superintendent for the last 15 years. David oversees our Production Department, including all field crews, equipment and paving operations to ensure our projects are completed in a timely, quality and safe manner.

He works around the clock at times to get projects completed according to the clients' most stringent requests.

Vice President - Sales / Project Management

Mr. Fitzpatrick took his success and customer service skills from the restaurant management industry and transferred them into the paving industry to grow United Paving Co. into "One of the Nation's Top Contractors". In his 19 years with United Paving Co., Steve has directed the unparalleled sales and project management success of our team. He continuously develops us to ensure value and keep our company on a path of responsible growth.

Accounting Manager

Ms. Green began with our company 14 years ago with her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Fullerton. Starting at the front desk then becoming an Executive Assistant, she exhibited the exceptional performance in financial and contract management to earn the position of Accounting and Insurance Manager. Laura oversees our administrative staff that carries out vital duties to these departments and is diligent in ensuring our continued stability.

General Manager

As a third generation "paver" with 40 years in the industry, Mr. Wiley has the experience and insight critical to our company's success. We are fortunate to have him as one of our founding members these last 22 years. Along with getting permits, running projects and helping our team resolve any project-related issues, Mark supports our Safety Program to ensure workplace safety for all employees. His passion for our company and his thoughtfulness is unmatched.

Director of Marketing

Ms. Moran has directed our company's objectives for branding, business development, marketing, and events for the last 14 years. She leads our asphalt classes/webinars, exhibits at tradeshows, generates leads, designs marketing collateral, collaborates with operations, and manages our online presence. Tracie has an endless passion for helping property owners, managers and general contractors benefit from the constant improvements of United Paving Co.

Production Management

With 15 years in our Production department, Ms. Barcenas has been pivotal in managing our production team, crews, suppliers and subcontractors to successfully accomplish projects across California. Analue has managed dispatch, supplier relations, collaborating with our Sales/Project Management teams, ordering materials, and scheduling subs/suppliers to meet the most demanding timelines and client needs. She has grown into a project manager role to ensure production rates and materials are within budget.

Director of New Construction/Estimating

Mr. McLean has 34 years of paving experience. He began as a dispatcher in 1988, became a field foreman, and has been a project manager for the last 24 years. Tim has led the vast growth of our new construction department since he joined us 12 years ago. While overseeing a team of estimators, he also runs his own projects to ensure they meet budgets, deadlines and spec. He is skilled at meeting inspectors' and clients' strict requirements, and thinking quickly on his feet to resolve unexpected challenges.

Superintendent - New Construction

Mr. Homza has 37 years of paving experience and has worked as an operator, foreman, superintendent, project manager/estimator, and owner. With 7 years on our team, he is our New Construction Superintendent overseeing all grading and paving projects to ensure their successful completion. He is a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about training and educating our crews. His portfolio includes projects for CalTrans, Army Corp. of Engineers, FAA, Homeland Security, and public works for virtually every county in Southern California.

Human Resources Coordinator

Ms. "Biri" Arevalo joined our team in 2018 and has provided excellent support for Human Resources. Biri is a strong multitasker as she handles all personnel file updates, employment verifications, job posting and recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee consultations and more. She handles a high volume of work with calmness, confidence, and unfailing respect. Our employees appreciate the ease of connecting with her and our company is on the right track with her focused efforts.
